Federal Bank Deploys Mobile ATM Facility in Bengaluru

In an initiative aimed at helping the public fight COVID-19 by delivering banking services at their doorsteps and thus helping them stay indoors, Federal Bank had launched mobile ATMs in Chennai and Mumbai in the last few weeks. Inspired by the overwhelming acceptance of the initiative by the public in these cities, the Bank has deployed more Mobile ATMs in these cities and extended the facility to Bengaluru today. Vans housing ATMs will ply different places in the city. Customers of any bank can withdraw cash from these ATMs free of charges. Customers who wish to avail the service of the facility for themselves or their neighbours, can demand the ATM van in their vicinity by contacting branches of Federal Bank in Bengaluru.

The first mobile ATM in the city was inaugurated by Mr. Bhaskar Rao (City Police Commissioner, Bengaluru) by doing the first withdrawal from the ATM and the flag-off of the Mobile ATM Van was done by Mr. Yogesh M (DCP, CAR Bengaluru South) in the presence of Mr. Sandip Patil (DIG & Joint Commissioner of Police, CAR Units, Bengaluru), Mr. Rajanarayanan N (Vice President and Zonal Head Bengaluru, Federal Bank), Mr. Renji Alex (Vice President and Regional Head, Bengaluru North, Federal Bank), Mr. Rajesh K G (Deputy Vice President and Regional Head, Bengaluru South, Federal Bank) and Mr. John Louis Chirayath (Deputy Vice President, Federal Bank). The Bank plans to deploy more ATMs in Bengaluru in the next few days.
